"Tight Show At Taisho" is a weekly comedy event held in the Taisho, San Francisco restaurant. The host of the event, Peter Ballmer, contacted me to design the fliers for the event. I initially tried a Japanese art inspired design to pair with the Japanese aesthetics of the Taisho restaurant. However, Ballmer explained he wanted the flier to have a stand alone design that isn't linked to the restaurant's theming. We landed on the motif of the neon sign and after some 3D modelling I was able to pose the sign and render various images of the sign from different angles. Taking advantage of the model i also used it to create an animated bumper for the event.
